Using state-of-the-art machine vision and analysis, IntelliRail’s Rail Track Monitoring System can monitor railway tracks and detect surface defects that may compromise safety. The system provides reliable data on track-level defects, enabling railways to perform preventive maintenance and extend the track’s service life and efficiency.
IntelliRail’s Rail Track Monitoring System also integrates and synchronizes data from different measurement systems, such as the Track Component Video Inspection System. This system can measure more critical parameters than manual instruments, such as anomalies on top of the rail, joint bars, fasteners and clips, sleepers, and surface defects.
IntelliRail’s Rail Track Monitoring System captures digital images of the track for visual assessment and analysis of safety conditions, creating exception reports and avoiding accidents. It can work independently or as part of a track inspection system. When combined with measurement systems, IntelliRail’s Rail Track Monitoring System links visual location information to measurement data, giving users quick access to visual information on sites of interest, such as defect locations. This minimizes the need for site visits and facilitates maintenance planning.
